5-days/100 km Namaqua Camino The Namaqua Camino 5-Day (103 km) is a supported slackpack hike through the distinctive and diverse Namaqualand countryside, timed to coincide with the annual Namaqualand wildflower season. This nearly circular walk concludes in the quaint seaside village of Hondeklip Bay. The route takes you along an inland path to the coastal section of the Namaqua National Park. The two days spent on the coast offer spectacular walks with plenty of time to enjoy the scenic, unspoiled Namaqualand coastline. As a slackpack hike, you can bring your own tent or opt to hire a tent, stretcher, mattress, and daily pitching services for an additional cost. A comfortable camping chair is provided for each participant. Daily stage distances range between 15 and 25 km, with camp set up at a different location each night. Please note: While this walk is designed to be more leisurely, advance preparation is still essential to ensure you are as walking fit as possible.
